Got the new stuff put on. Still need to do some more work before I fire it up. I'm gonna drain and replace oil and coolant, need to get some new fuel hose, need to get the distributor back in and then throw a timing light on the thing and get timing back down (I think it's been off since I bought the truck anyways). Have some picture porn.

I would suggest running an insulating gasket under that carb. I installed an Edelbrock #9266 under my 600 cfm EPS carb after running an ordinary gasket for years. It ran noticeably better and cured a hot start issue I always had. Apparently these carbs are some of the worst at boiling fuel due to the small size of the fuel bowls and their integration into the mainbody.
